    The House Committee of Health and Human Resources moves to amend the bill on page two, line four, after the word “authorized” by striking the period and inserting in lieu thereof a comma, and the following:

    “with the following amendment:

    On page 9, subdivision 4.2.b, by removing “thirty (30)” and inserting in lieu thereof, “ninety (90)”;

    And,

    On page 39, by striking subdivision 13.b, and inserting in lieu thereof the following:

    ‘13.3.b. Jumpers, and infant walkers are prohibited.

13.3.c. Play pens and play yards, if used, must be manufactured after February 28, 2013, properly disinfected after each use and not used for multiple children at the same time.’;

    And,

    On page 40, subparagraph 13.3.a.3, after the word, ‘served’ by removing the semi-colon, inserting a period, and removing the following, ‘provided that the center shall not use tables with built-in multiple bucket-type seats after June 30, 2015.’;

    And,

    On page 43, subparagraph 13.4.i.5, after the word, ‘worn’ by removing the comma, and the following: ‘but the use of a blanket is prohibited in the crib’ and restoring the following language: ‘or a thin blanket used for a covering. If a blanket is used, it shall be tucked around the mattress of the crib and only cover the child high as his or her chest.’;

    And,

    On page 48, by removing 14.3.d and inserting in lieu thereof a new 14.3.d to read as follows:

    ‘14.3.d. Restrictive equipment. Infant equipment that restricts movement such as swings, play pens, play yards, stationary activity centers (exersaurces), infant seats, etc., if used, shall only be used for short periods of time not to exceed fifteen (15) minutes in a four (4) hour period.’”
